• Account Details: Name, work email address, company website domain, and hashed authentication credentials when creating an account.
• Brand Configuration: Domains, designated competitor benchmarks, and source-of-truth URLs (e.g. policy pages, catalogs) you configure for automated audits.
• AI Audit & Citation Logs: Publicly generated LLM responses, timestamps, engine identifiers, and semantic accuracy scores produced during monitoring cycles.
• Billing Information: Payment transactions are securely handled by PCI-DSS compliant payment gateways (Stripe); AnswerLens does not store full credit card numbers.
• Technical Usage: Browser types, IP addresses, and anonymized interaction metrics used to secure and optimize platform performance.

2. How We Use Collected Data

We use your data solely to execute scheduled queries against commercial AI endpoints, calculate your Accuracy and Answer Share metrics, deliver real-time drift alerts (via Slack or email), and compile structured fix briefs.

3. Strict Zero Model Training Commitment

AnswerLens does not sell your data or use your brand configuration, source-of-truth documentation, or account details to train or fine-tune any third-party public AI models. We interact with foundation model providers strictly via enterprise, zero-data-retention commercial API agreements.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

Historical scan data is retained for the duration of your active subscription plan (30 days on Starter, 1 year on Growth, custom on Enterprise). Upon account termination, all customer brand configurations and stored reports are permanently scrubbed within 30 days.

5. Security & Compliance Standards

All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.3, and all data at rest is encrypted using AES-256. AnswerLens is independently audited for SOC 2 Type II compliance and adheres strictly to GDPR and international consumer privacy frameworks.
